The Blues Period

Began writing for a living by interviewing rock musicians. Evolved into editing a rock & roll magazine (“Rock Magazine”) and working in entertainment PR and artist management.


The Grey Period

Woke up one day and found myself in the Corporate Communications Department of Grey Advertising, initially writing employee newsletters and then a marketing newsletter and executive speeches for audiences such as Goldman Sachs, Kraft Foods, the National Dairy Board, and the Retail Merchants Association. Later moved to business development, writing promotional materials, pitch letters, presentations, Web copy, and RFI and RFP responses.


The Magenta Period

Set up shop as an independent speechwriter and marketing and employee communications writer in 2006. Among my assignments...
